Can't Wait

I can't wait for tomorrow.

I can't wait to not have to pee 4-5 times in the night

I can't wait to stop eating Tums all day everyday.

I can't wait to have ankles again and not cankles.

I can't wait to bend and pick up things off the ground in ease.

I can't wait see my toes.

I can't wait to sleep in comfort again.

I can't wait to stop throwing up!

I can't wait to have feeling in my wrist and hand again.

I can't wait to have energy again.

I can't wait to wear normal clothes.

I can't wait to wear my wedding ring again.

I can't wait just feel normal.

Most of all I can't wait to hold my sweet new baby in my arms tomorrow!

These Two

For four years it has been these two little guys. Four little hands to hold and twenty little toes to keep warm. Two tummies to feed, two scrapbooks to make, two seat belts to click and two faces to kiss. These two have been my greatest joys and blessings. Shane has been the older brother to guide and protect Trevor. He helps him and comforts him as an older brother should. Trevor has always been the baby. Loving to be held and taken care of. Together they have been the perfect team of cops and robbers, Buzz and Woody, Batman and Robin or whatever it is they choose to play.

Tomorrow this will all change forever. I will have more hands to hold and another boy to cherish. I sometimes wonder if I have broken this team of these two brothers but then I think about the love this baby has already brought us and will continue to bring. Shane and Trevor have mastered the art of bottle making before he is even here with all their practices. They have helped put together bouncier seats, swings, and cribs. Blankets have been folded and diapers put away. I'm sure about a million questions have been asked about their new brother too. Here we are, ready for this new little guy. Now we will have The Three Stooges, The Three Wisemen, My Three Sons and The Three Musketeers to keep our home full of laughter and love.

Shane will continue to lead and guide Trevor as he teaches him to be a big brother too. Trevor will not only be Shane's little shadow but have a shadow of his own. I will still get to say, "BOYS, it's time to go or BOYS eat your dinner." I will now have more kisses to give and love to share and I cannot wait. These two will always be my loves and soon my heart will be bigger and more full with these THREE.

Seeing Green

Shane is obsessed. Obsessed with MONEY! He use to want to only be a police officer, but now he wants to be a police officer and a BILLIONAIRE! His favorite song at the moment I Wanna Be a Billionaire which he knows all the words to as he sings along. He wonders if Oprah will be dead by the time he is a grown-up because then he can then take her place on the cover of Forbes magazine! Shane is constantly trying to find ways to get money into his little hands. He has a job and a work shirt that goes along with it. He asks to have business meetings with his employer too. All this at the old age of 6! Good thing our friend and neighbor, Nikki, knows how to play along with Shane's madness and hires him to clean up around her house! Yesterday I thought he was being so thoughtful wanting to buy me a drink at Costco all by himself but it turns out he only wanted my change! Cash is what he dreams of and that is what he got for his birthday! I've never heard of a little boy so excited to go to the bank! He kept asking to go DAILY! Now that the money is in the bank he can't spend it which is fine by him.

Trevor gets in on the action too but on a smaller scale. It's nice having them aware of money because now when they want something they break out THEIR wallets! It's funny how wanting $20 items are gone and now it's down to $1 items.

I don't think Shane will get rich becoming a police officer but maybe he will find something else on the side. This little money obsession at such a young age reminds me of his Daddy. I'm just enjoying someone willing to clean the house even if it makes my wallet less full.

Baseball Birthday

Shane is all about baseball these days so when he finally decided on a baseball birthday I wasn't surprised. We had a great afternoon doing everything baseball! He enjoyed picking out treat and goodies for all his friends. This kid really loves everything about his birthday parties and pays attention to all details.

That baseball bat is Damon's childhood when he played baseball. Party pictures were actually easy this year because Shane "knows how baseball players stand and act!"

Pinata time.

Shane is all about the pinata too. I don't think I'll ever be able to throw a part for him without the pinata.

I messed it up and forgot he wanted a cake which would have been way easier for me! He is already talking about next year's party and how he wants cake!

As usual our wonderful family and friends spoiled him!

Birthday season is over for another year. I still cannot believe Shane is 6 years old. I have to pause and think how old he is because I really don't believe it. Shane is such a kind boy. He is so helpful to everyone around him. He is inquisitive by nature too. Always curious about the work around him. I love this guy who made me a Mama for the first time something I count as my greatest blessing.

Ventura Vacation

We always love a reason to get away and go to the beach. With Shane being in school and me pregnant we haven't been able to escape like we use to. During track break we decided this is our last little get away before the baby so Lanae and I packed up the kids and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house! The weather was mostly cold, but that didn't stop the kids from playing at the beach. We had a blast looking a tide pools during low tide with our friend, Amy. The kids loved running around and splashing as they looked.

Poor Damon had to stay at home to work so it was just me and the boys. The water, as always, was cold but we still found treasures.

Shane loves going to the harbor and having fish. Some how whenever I'm finishing up my meal Grandpa Young takes the boys for a walk which we usually find them here with ice cream. Having Grandma and Grandpa around to spoil you is always the best. I'm sure they had eaten 2 or 3 Popsicles that day at Grandma and Grandpa Stewie's too.

We always have food stops while in Ventura too. They boys love going to the "Doughnut House" AKA K.D. Doughnuts.

Shane adores all his baby cousins. He was caught holding onto Hunter many times. He really enjoys them and is so sweet to make each baby happy.

We went to see Gigi Beebe and sang her songs. The kids had fun and Shane loved telling her about T Ball and show off his uniform.

Dukes for breakfast and Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Craig gave all the kids quarters to play the games. They all hit a jackpot with the candy machine and as always Trevor is full of joy because of candy! He looks so grown-up.

Another food must, Foster's Freeze! Shane ate 6 corn burritos. He is just like his Daddy and loves them. I couldn't believe he ate so many. He's proud of himself and couldn't wait to tell Damon all about it.

As always we had a blast playing together and being with family. We have traditions of things we always do and the kids love playing with Grandparents and cousins.

Taken Care Of

I always knew Damon would be a great husband. I knew he would take care of me and love me. He's been my love for more than half my life! He seems to know what I need and love me no matter what. He has been working himself almost to death for me and for our boys and this makes me love him even more. What I didn't realize in life is that once I had a few little boys they would take care of me too. It's Fathers and Sons Campout this week-end and the boys left me for adventure. The Caveman in Shane couldn't wait to go all decked out in camo he and Daddy bought earlier this week. He was ready for the wilderness and "hunting for animals!" Trevor was excited to go too but the morning before told me he wanted to stay home with me so there was someone to take care of me. My heart melted with his thoughtfulness towards me! Once I told him I was ok and doing girl stuff he was more than happy to go.

With another little guy growing in my belly Shane is thoughtful of me and ready to help me too. He kisses and loves my belly and gets drinks for me and the baby. He always wants to hear how the tube in my tummy brings the drinks and vitamins to the baby.

Life is never what you plan. What I didn't understand is those things I thought I wanted, I don't. I have everything I need with the 3 men in my life and soon it will be even better adding another little guy to the bunch who I'm sure will soon enough be taking care of me too!

Needing Attention

It's funny how things change with time. I remember the days when I couldn't get a picture of the boys together. Now it seems if I want one of just Shane and the smile and lighting are perfect Mr. T comes along and has to put his face in it!

Attention is needed by Trevor and sometimes he'll do anything to get it, even get in trouble!
