It is truly amazing how one person can impact a person's life. I cannot believe how many people have been willing to donate to Brite Blue. Even small donations of $20 have added up to pay tuition. Damon and his partners will be going back to Guatemala in November to meet with the Principal and teachers of each child they have placed in school. There are now 5 kids in school and in Novemeber Damon will be putting 5 more kids in school (10 total). The joy on each child's face when they are given the opportunity to go to school is priceless. The 5 children in school cannot believe how blessed they are to be in school and to be learning! The foundation pays for their tuition, they get actual books to take home, NEW clothes as their school uniforms, new shoes instead of barefeet, and food at school.I notice how I sometimes forget how lucky we are to be able to send our kids to school, feed them, and provide them with a roof over their heads. We truly have more in this country then any other. Please take a moment and consider helping these young kids. Damon has personally promised 12,000 dollars this year to his "Guatemalan children". He will get this money through donations or if needed his own pocket. He is adament about his work in Central America. It was become very personal to him.
Remember, Damon and his partners do not take any salary. All the money goes directly to the kids and don't forget it is tax deductible.
Help change the lives of so many young people!!

I am amazed with this project...this time I will remember to donate. Life gets so very hectic (even with no kids at home....seriously, it does).
Just think if all returned missionaries did some project like this for the folks where they served! The world would be an amazing place!
Great initiative, Damon! Let's get this email around on Craig's List or something....would that work? (to get more donations than just form those you guys know)
Let's get behind them, skip a meal "out" or something and share a $20 spot with the underprivileged KIDS!
